Pride and Remembrance Run

Pride and Remembrance Run

The Pride and Remembrance Run in Toronto has an unrivaled vibrant community filled with celebration and love. The event welcomes people of all ages, athletic abilities, 2SLGBTQ+ community members and allies to celebrate Pride Week’s only annual athletic event. The 2024 run made an electrifying return to Church-Wellesley Village on June 29.

Paradigm provided pro-bono media relations services,

masterfully crafting a media pitch that resulted in high-quality media coverage leading up to race day, and on the day. Media relations efforts increased total impressions by almost four times the previous year and total stories by more than double.  Coverage landed in top-tier outlets like Toronto Star, blogTO, and Canadian Running Magazine.

Pride and Remembrance Run
On race day, we secured high-quality broadcast coverage on CP24,

CityNews Toronto, CTV News Toronto, CBC and Global News, effectively conveying key messages and capturing the vibrant energy of the run. Paradigm generated over 36-million impressions, solidifying the Pride and Remembrance Run’s place as a powerful and exuberant celebration of diversity, resilience and community spirit.

Pride and Remembrance Run
The event successfully raised over $300,000,

benefiting five charities: AndThenIWasFree, Durham Alliance Outreach, Toronto People with AIDS Foundation, Rainbow Faith and Freedom, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation, pushing the total raised since 1996 to an impressive $3 million.
